Our Year 3 and Year 4 Quad Kids team enjoyed a fantastic day of sport, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and respect throughout the event.
Competing in a range of athletic challenges, including the howler throw, 400m race, standing long jump and 100m sprint, the children gave their all in every activity. They not only showed great individual effort but also supported and encouraged one another every step of the way, truly reflecting our school values.
The team achieved an impressive 4th place overall, a result they should be incredibly proud of. It was a brilliant day filled with enthusiasm, perseverance and sportsmanship.
A big thank you goes to West Lancs Sports Partnership for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event.
We would also like to give a special mention to one of our Year 3 pupils, who delivered an outstanding performance on the day. Competing against athletes from seven schools, he was crowned overall best boy, taking home an individual gold medal which is an amazing achievement!
Well done to all of our pupils who took part, you represented the school superbly and should be very proud of yourselves.
