Hello everyone! My name is Miss Waring and I’m thrilled to become a part of the BVPS community and feel privileged to be your teacher for your final year in primary school. I completed my teacher training through a Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship, qualifying with a distinction, and have been teaching Year 6 since. Before embarking on my journey as a teacher, I graduated from Edge Hill University with a first-class degree in Musical Theatre. Before the unfortunate COVID lockdowns, I spent my weekends ‘gigging’ - both as a solo singer and as part of a duo. I have a deep passion for performing arts and have had the privilege of singing semi-professionally across various venues in the UK - even performing as an ABBA tribute! I can’t wait to share my love for music, drama and dance with you all through leading exciting extracurricular clubs and of course eventually putting on an unforgettable end-of-year show. Alongside the academic challenges ahead, I’m committed to supporting every student socially and emotionally, ensuring you all feel confident and ready for the exciting journey that Year 6 brings!
