A huge well done to the mixed cricket team who attended an event against other local schools yesterday and came in 3rd place!
The teams lunchtime and PE practice sessions clearly paid off. They played fantastically, securing victories against Halsall with a significant points lead and against St. Michael’s. Although they faced a tough match against Town Green, narrowly missing out on second place, they demonstrated resilience and determination. In the battle for third place against Christ Church, an incredible catch by Elena and brilliant bowling from Rosie were pivotal in clinching the win.
Throughout the tournament, the team consistently encouraged and supported each other, showcasing their talent and teamwork. Miss Weston and Miss Barnes said it was a pleasure to watch and be part of such a spirited performance.
