Farmyard Week at Stay & Play

This week was one of the busiest groups we have ever had at Stay & Play! It was wonderful to see all the children, parents and carers having conversations together and playing with the other children.

It was lovely to meet so many new families! A big thank you to our regular families who made them feel so welcome.

The children enjoyed building their own farm with Lego for their animals; and also exploring different cereals with farm animals in the sensory tray. On the craft table, children were able to use scissors with the help of their parents and carers to make and design their own finger puppets, or colouring in their favourite farm animal.

At the end, we enjoyed reading 'A Squash and A Squeeze' by Julia Donaldson.
