It has been a busy start to the week for our Reception class. They have been enjoying some phonics bingo, outdoor reading, water maths, and problem solving to name but a few.
They have started to look at the abstract painting created by the artist Kandinsky and looked at the detail and created some of the shapes. Then used the first page in their new sketchbooks. They used charcoal and drawing pencils and took them for a walk across the page.
