Last week we held our popular Come Learn with Me sessions for all year groups, with this term’s focus on Online Safety. Each session began with a short introduction from Mrs Swift, who spoke about how we at Burscough Village Primary School support parents and carers with the ongoing challenges of keeping children safe online.
After the introduction, class teachers led a range of engaging, age-appropriate activities to help children learn how to stay safe in the digital world. It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and carers into school and to see everyone learning together.
For our younger year groups in Key Stage 1, there was more emphasis on the importance of "talk and communication" which the children and families explored through play.
