Monday – Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm – 6.5 hrs per day / 32.5 hours per week. Fixed term for 12 months, based on additional funding.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Relevant Child Care qualification (or equivalent)      
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of the relevant age 

Knowledge/skills/abilities – all essential

  • Ability to relate well to children
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to organise classroom resources
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid/Paediatric First Aid
  • Ability to use relevant technology (e.g.  computer, photocopier)
  • Flexible attitude to work
